The more exotic side garden is planted with vines and various other climbers, with conifer, fig, bamboo and so on. It is decked with reclaimed timber and granite, and is a sun-trap.

At the rear, a small garden with many different shrubs surrounds a little water feature with arum lily, water iris and bamboo. Also at the rear is a good size shed built in timber with a tiled roof.
